Review: Home Depot Microfiber Dust & Wash Mitt

I have been looking for a while for an OTC wash mitt that was not sheepskin and that it didn't had a bug scrubber on the other side. Now, I have been looking into several places at a time to see if I could find some, since I got a nice contract on high-end cars and needed more than 1 washmitt in order to not transfer the dirt into the other cars, and while I was at HD, I went to get some spray bottles that I needed badly, and found this

It looked quite nice on that neon green color. So I thought, hmmmm let's do some softness test. It was softer than soft! Played with it a little bit, and I liked the feeling of it. Some close up pics:

A major plus on this one, is that it has a microfiber towel embedded on the other side of the mitt! A major for me!

(It looks like it's dirty, but it is not. Just a little lighting issue)

I used it in 2 of the cars, with ONR as the washing agent, and it glided better than sheepskin. It didn't hold dirt like sheepskin, and I wad some tough dirt on the lower sides, in which I used the microfiber towel side, without inducing any marring. One phrase to describe this mitt? Love it! Highly recommend it! And for $5.97 each, it's an awesome deal!

Yeah, I was really digging the orange vroom muppet head wash pads with the gray terry MF on the back for $2.99 or something. Now they are blue with bug mesh on the back for 4 or 5 bucks...not digging them so much.

Don't MF mitts in general hold onto grit? I mean, we've all picked stuff out of our MF towels. Sometimes the towel doesn't want to give it up!

Will these mitts release harmful particles in the rinse bucket? TIA

I've had a few of these things given to me. So far the only real use I've gotten out of them is dusting off the dash... For washing I just wasn't impressed much.

This is what I use for conventional washing (2 bucket method). I tried it with ONR awhile ago, but I had a much different experience with it than you, it just wouldn't let go of the dirt.
