Review: Autoglym Acid-Free Wheel Cleaner

if your getting 5 5l why not just get the 25l jug instead. should be about $200 or so the shipping.

I like the action!! That would take a while to use up ;)

I think it was either $50 or $60 when I purchased last year.

This is where i purchased the Brown Roya Wheel Cleaners and Polishes. I was skeptical at first but after everything i saw on Youtube and reviews on other forums i gave it a shot. I was nothing short of amazed by the results easily as good as Sonax for far less $$$.

Heh heh, you guys aren't making it easy for me to choose between the AutoGlym and the Griot's (and the OPC for that matter) :grinno:

opc works on wheels, i just like the finish/shine that ag and griots leave better.

accumulator- if you've not tried the ag stuff yet you owe it to your self to. try it straight and diluted 1:1. i like better than the griots but there are pretty close.

Thanks, that's been my experience, too. The APCs tend to leave a slightly dull appearance.

OK, I'm only using Wheel Cleaner on one or two vehicles and I'm not sure how long I'll keep doing that, but if/when I run out of Griot's and P21s I'll probably give the AutoGlym a try. I usually like their stuff anyhow.

It's sounds like there might have been some changes with the Autoglym USA folks. Phone number has changed too. I had a report this afternoon that they will have 1 gallon and 5 gallon sizes. I guess no more metric packaging. OTOH, price per volume sounds a bit more favorable now. 1 gallon @ $35.

Thanks for the information Tom!

My pleasure. I'll try to give them a call and find out what the low down is on future supplies and sizes.

I thought they were one in the same. Who/where is AG USA??

I was referring to the folks in TN.

When Walmart started carrying the AG line, AG appointed a distributor on the east coast to solely handle that account. With Wally World out of the picture now, I'd assume that distributor is no longer in the picture. Try TCP Global. I believe they are the guys in TN.

After using the Autoglym wheel cleaner for a couple years, I have to categorize it as "outstanding". This is the strongest endorsement I could ever offer. I can't think of many other products I like as much :)
