sooo any updates on the durability of this "american shine liquid wax"

reason i ask is cause i have a shipment on the way :D

Well sir, I can sorta jump in here...

Its a step down from Collinite, but most carnaubas are. I don't know exactly what I would compare it to; also, I reapply it every other week anyway.

Blackntan, post us with updates of durability...beading ability, feeling/slickness.

Whats going on with your timing belt?? Get that fixed? Thats always a real gem.

Ok... I'm back, and alive...

Replaced the t-belt and waterpump, and had to tear it down and redo it about 4 times to get everything right and lined up... What a mess... I still have an engine code, but I am pretty sure it's something like a loose wire connection...

Anyway, back to the important stuff!

Between the crappy weather and my t-belt, I don't have any pics, but the durability of this stuff is fantastic. We've been pelted with rain this weekend, and it hasn't let up. I have the nicest beading car in the parking lot. Also, when it dried, there aren't too many water spots left on the paint. It still looks deep and black, and is doing a great job of hiding the swirls. It's also pretty slick and smooth, and you still slide off of the car when you lean on it..

Remember, this is with no real prep. I'm impressed.

I'm gonna do a full prep then application with PC the next time I can get down to my dads garage and when it's nice out...

Hopefully i'll have pics then. I don't anticipate having any time to do a detail or wash between now and then, so i'll keep the updates flowing.

I had it on my car about 10 weeks before I put something else on (my car is a test bed) and it was stillbeading nicely and looked very good.

I bought a bottle and the man from AS e mailed me because I wanted to know about cleaners in the carnuba.I only try to use carnuba with no cleaners (just cutters)He said that if I was not happy with the product he would refund my money. That is how much he believes in his product!

How's the fast wax. I think it's an all in one product. If it is as easy as AS' carnuba, I may recommend that to "the lazy man".

the anticipation is killing me. hehe. seems very promising so far.

do u think it would go over NXT just fine? cause once i get it from the mail im gonna do this to my sister's pathfinder:

1. Claybar. 2. Color X. 3. NXT. and 4. AS Liquid wax. so hopefully it'll be good for 2 months i hope.

Yup, that should work nicely. The cleaners in the wax are VERY mild...I don't think it would remove hardly any sealant. I use it over Platinum UPP all the time with great results.

Just received my bottle today !! Cant wait to try the "lazy man's" wax.. The folks at AS are awesome to work with also.. Thats always a plus in my book.
