Here are some pics taken after Saturday's detailing. I tried a couple new things:
First, I tried the "clay while you hose the car" trick. I didn't like it. First off you get really wet. Second, the clay kept sticking to the surface and then it would leave some residue that would have to cleaned off. Next time I'm going to try the water/car shampoo mix as a lube.
Next I used some S100 SEC for the first time. Wow, I really like the results. I topped with a coat of Blitz (have S100 on order, that will be used next time). I think this the best the car has looked this summer. I especially like the rear quarter shot, my favorite spot is where the C-pillar blends in with the rear fender.
I took a shot of the hood (and before anyone posts the question, "Hey, what color is that car?" It's white
) I know it can't compete with Amp's hood shot, but at least I managed to get reflections in a white car.
