Results after Day 1 (newbie)

Well, I'm certainly no car photog, as these two snaps will clearly prove. But I'm posting a before and after for Day 1 of my detail.



Here is what I accomplished today:



Wash

Clay

AIO

Z6

ZFX/Z5

I'm dog tired. But happy with the results so far. Tomorrow, I'm going to add 2 layers of ZFX/Z2, and then Thursday I'll top it with S100.



I know these pics aren't from exactly the same angle ... sorry. :o

I plan to post more when I get done with the S100. These were just posted to kind of document the improvement as I go through the process. I'm really anxious to see if the pics look much different after the S100.
 
Oh, I meant to mention that when I applied the AIO and tried to remove it with a Pakshak MF towel, it streaked badly. It was VERY hard to remove. I was disappointed, since I'd read so much about how easy it is to apply/remove.



I did a quick search here, and I think the consensus with AIO and streaking is that it will streak if you use too much. But I really felt like I wasn't using much at all. I'm used to not using too much product because that's the Zaino mantra. Was I not working it into the paint enough? Any other ideas?
 
Thank you, GS-R Jay! I just looked up the Arctic Blue Pearl RSX on the Internet, and they are similar colors. I hereby declare that we both have excellent taste! LOL



A couple years ago, I thought the RSX would be my next car. But the money just wasn't there at the time. How do you like it?
 
nice rx8.. looks good too... i also have an rsx type s, but mine is silver... arctic blue looks nice on that car tho... wish i had decided to get it in that color... every1 has silver

It's a blast to drive! I'm glad I dumped the GT Eclipse. I wanted the RSX in either Satin Silver, Arctic Blue Pearl, or Firepepper Red. I plan on keeping this car for a LONG time.
 
Glad you like it so much! I don't see too many of them around here, so when I do notice one, it's a nice treat. It's cool to have a car that you don't see around very much. :)



Well, I'm posting another picture of the car. This is after I added 2 layers of Z2 this morning. I just thought this was kind of a cool picture.
