Anyone ever use this product thats advertised on TV? Supposed to remove oxidation and other surface elements?

I haven't, but with a good compound ( Meg's ,Menzerna or 3M ) you can do wonders in removing oxidation on paint.

This product just looks like a spray version of a non-abrasive paint cleaner or a cleaner wax (paint cleaner and wax combo).

Go with the Meguiars products? What about Poorboys SSR3 or Black Pearl? I am a real novice. Big time. Do you use a foam or wool pad when applying? I'll go with the recommendations on the site. I just need to make sure i get the best product and know what i'm doing. Something from the store on the site is fine. The paint may not come back...who knows....but i've seen similar situations in pics on here and they got the paint to come back nice. But those were experts doing it.

What are you trying to do -- remove swirls using an abrasive polish or just clean paint using a non-abrasive product?
The usual steps are:
1. wash
2. clay
3. Correct (abrasive) or clean (non-abrasive) paint
4. Apply glazes and waxes/sealants

Since you've told us you are new to the scene I would offer this piece of advice. Hold off on the SSR 3 until you've had a chance to play around with some of the less aggressive polishes. Start off with SSR 1, SSR 2 or something similar like Megiuars 105 and 205. The SSR 3 is good stuff when it's required but it is very aggressive. Using this with the wrong pad can cause you an awful lot of work. The less aggressive polishes and the right pad will allow you to do marvelous things. Glad to see you on the forum.
I have no experience, nor have I heard of, with the Simoniz product in your initial query. When addressing oxidized paint surfaces, a "compound" is the last product I'm going to deploy. A chemical cleaner, such as Klasse's AIO, PB's Pro Polish (the older version, I don't have any experience with the new formulation) P21S (S100) Paintwork Cleansing Lotion, or even a cleaner wax (depending on the severity of the problem).
As GH mentions above reaching first for an overly aggressive product can lead to unnecessary work.

If you are looking to remove some oxidation I would recommend some Poorboys Pro Polish! If you are looking for a 1 step polish/wax combo Poorboys Polish with sealant is very nice.

Thanks for the welcomes and replies. The oxidation is heavy. I already tried a clay bar to no avail. Still go with Poorboys or SSR1 or SSR2? Foam pad or wool?

Unless you're trying to remove swirls in addition to the oxidation, I wouldn't make either of those my first recommendation (one, I have used neither and two SSR is an acronym for Super Swirl Removers). As some of us have mentioned above PB's PP or KAIO would be my starting point. Are you working w/ a PC (type) or rotary? If PC, foam or I guess you could try a foamed wool pad. Someone who has some experience might chime in about the Surbuf pads. If you're using a rotary, go with what you know.
