Resistance to Dust of topper products

I have a few coats of Klasse SG on my car right now, and am considering some kind of topper to give it a bit more of a "pop" (to use a frequent autopian term). However, something I do not want to give up is the great resistance to dirt and dust I have with SG. The car never seems to get dirty, and quick wipe down with Final Inspection seems to be enough to keep in clean all the time.



I've thought of going with S100, because I like the warm glow it gives my car, and like SG, seems to do a good job of resisting dust.



However, there might also be advantages to using NXT or PUPP if I decide I want to add another layer of SG later. But, I wonder how that will effect the dust issue. We may not not know enough about NXT yet but I would love to hear what you all think.

Sorry to burst your bubble a bit here, but I'm not sure that there's a really good answer for this.



There are so many factors involved in dust accumulation, that you'll get answers all over the board quite often... at least, that's what I seem to recall. I don't really seem to remember any product where the vast majority of all users agreed that they had dust problems or not. :nixweiss



If *I* were looking for this type of info (and I think I must have at some point) I would try running a search on individual products with the word "dust" or "dusting" included. Sorry if this doesn't really answer your question, but I hope that helps you.

I think your response is both fair and informative. I did as your recommended, and searched on the issue, and at least found out about experiences with PUPP and S100 as stand-alone products. I didn't find a lot out there about PUPP on top of SG (at least in terms of resistance). But, as is generally the case here, a search produced lots of helpful information. NXT is a little too new for too many comments.

I top the AIO/SG with PCW and then Sonus Acrylic Spritz. This seems to give it that "Perfect Shine" that David talks about. This does attract some dust but that is taken care of by the Oxo Car Duster.
