After a paint job, the paint is looking in few areas like this (well not that bad like in the picture) :

Why does this happen ? Can this be corrected ?

Any help is appreciated.

PS : not a picture of my paint, mine is black - BMW 323ci, '00 Cosmosblack Pearl Metallic- color code 303.

I think this is called "fish eyeing" due to the paint not adhereing to certain areas of the car. Thats why most body shops don't want silicone products used. Silicone hinders the paint from sticking to the finish.

Well if the paint job was done correctly. The painter would have stripped the car of all products, silicon, wax, sealants, etc.

Did you use any products after the paint job?

But that could also be moisture in the paint. If they didn't use a good moisture trap, or it wasn't working properly, that would be a possibility. Usually fisheyes are round craters ( hence the name ) caused by the presence of silicone as mentioned. Could also be dirt/debris in the paint spray system .
