removing zaino with my PC or buffer

Hi all,

I wanted to get your feedback on using my PC to remove z2 using a microfiber bonnet.

do you have a preferred speed setting ? I'm assuming blasting away with 5 or 6 :D

did it turn out better than remvoing it by hand ?

is it myth or reality that once its done, going over it again with another MF bonnet brings out the "bling bling" due to the PC action heats up the zaino ?

is a random orbital polisher that much better than using those cheaper dual action buffers ones found at pep boyz say ?

thanks for the tips

montoya- Not being a Zaino user, all I can speak to is your last question. If you're comparing the PC to other "polishers" of lower cost, then yeah, the PC is a whole 'nother animal compared to the cheapie random orbitals and, IMO, cheaper D/As. No comparison at all. Go for the most heavy-duty, "professional" quality machine you can afford.

FWIW, when I remove MY sealants of choice (UPP and SG), I use a suede-style MF bonnet and speed 5-6. Works great. I dunno about any PC-induced heat, there's not a whole lot of speed or friction going on there...

I remove zaino with MF towels by hand. I have a bunch of pads and bonnets sitting in a box because it takes longer to put them on and off the PC than just removing it by hand.

from what I can make out, your avatar looks like a S2000, so buy a PC and treat that car right :). Well worth the investment.

If anything, the prep before the zaino will bring out the bling bling
