removing wetsand marks with PC?

I have some scratches that need to be wetsanded, but I only have a PC to remove the wetsanding scratches with.



Is it possible t remove wetsanding marks with a wool pad on my PC using 3M fine cut rubbing compound?



What grit wetsand marks can I remove using this combination? 1500 or 2000+?



Are there any other tips or tricks I could use?
