Hey guys newb here, i have a 99 WS6 and it came with the factory polished/clear coated wheels. It seems like i have developed some sort of spots on them that LOOK like water spots and i cant get them out with never dull, or the blumagic wheel polish. I dont know what else i can try? Can you guys help me out here,

Thanks!

You may need to try an acidic wheel cleaner such as meguiers. I would talk to someone who has these particular type of wheeel and get their advice. For me I use wheel acid to remove these, but i have done it many times and feel comfortable with it. Always be safe with these types of cleaners.

Since the wheels are clearcoated, you might want to try a light cut polish. I've used ZPC with my PC7424 and had good results. Not specifically for "spots", but for wheels that were just dull and had never been cleaned properly. Worth a try.:D

Ok well i have some mothers pre wax cleaner and i remember that took off a some hard stuff off my paint last summer....would this be worth a shot?

It's worth a shot, I've never used any Mother's products so I can't say for sure. Just test it on a small area to see how it works.

Tried the mothers pre-wax cleaner this morning with no success. I think im going to try something a lil more heavy duty such as a rubbing compound of some kind.

Any other ideas?

Be careful with heavy duty compound, you could do more harm than good. PM me your address and I'll send you something to get those spots out.

No way. Stay away from the rubbing compound. You might end up destroying your wheels.
