I don't have the total wash in my arsenal. Would a super concentrated dawn wash get rid of the grease?

Yes,
The LSP will be gone for sure then. looks like there is no way around it. Good thing BFWD is so easy to apply.

IMO, it's better to have BFWD and collinite applied before the process... at least you can rest assured that your paint a bit protected from those undercoating? or perhaps not...

If car wash soap wont remove it you will have to use kerosene or mineral spirits. Of course you will have to re wax/seal it.
