Removing swirls where PC can't reach?

For all those grooves or crevices where the PC can't reach, do you just use the same swirl remover product by hand? Foam applicator or MF or what?

Thanks...

Yep, you got it. I usually use MF or foam swabs (if that's all that'll reach).

Note that this can make for a lot of long, hard work in some cases (inaccessible spots on the Audis drive me nuts).

Most any product that works via PC will work fine by hand (and vice-versa) just make sure you work it long enough for it to break down if it's that kind of product.

Weird.

I got done with the PC, now I'm taking care of several areas by hand. Something's not right. It's looking kinda cloudy or foggy or something. I'm working small areas at a time. I'm using a MF towel to apply the product and I work it in until it looks like it's about to dry, then I remove and buff with another MF towel. Looks kinda hazy afterwards.

(Btw, I'm using 3M Perfect It FPP Glaze SMR (39009) )

Any ideas?

I use Meguiars Hand Polish in areas that the PC can't reach. If it's pretty rough I'll use some DACP by hand first and follow with the Hand Polish.

Sorry, that's not a product I'm familiar with. It sounds like you're doing everything right so I dunno what's wrong. That's the same product you were using by PC, right? What do you think might be different about using it by hand (longer working time, more/less pressure)?

Wish I could be more helpful, must be frustrating.

FWIW, I have zero problems using the 1Z (any of their polishes) and/or 3M PI-III stuff (their 05937 MG and 05933 RC) that I like by hand :nixweiss
