Removing sap from cloth top

I got a couple of drops of sap on my convertible cloth top. I tried the RaggTop cleaner and a scrub brush but couldn't remove the spots completely. Any suggestions to do so would be welcome.

You might try Stoner's Tarminator Product, I have used this product to remove sap from the exterior of my car and have used it on some clothing that I had hung outside, it removed the sap easily and with regard to the clothing, I noticed no staining. Google, Stoner's Tarminator and by all means call them to discuss your particular application. To add, lighter fluid, in and of itself, removes sap quickly. but without question it is very aggressive. What ever product you decide to use, dab and blot and do not saturate.

Green rubbing alcohol use a white cotton cloth rub [lite] in ONE direction and a toothbrush for the fine residue if any. Get RAGGTOP protection, or go to a marine supply store check on canvas protection. To protect again Good Luck
