Removing Rust Stains

Hello all!

I've been reading this forum for two weeks now and I have learned a great deal of information!

Thank You All!!!

My Father has a Toyota Previa and the rear windshield wiper is rusting. So when it rains the rust is carried down the back of the car. Now when the car is dry, the rust is stained on the white van!

I was wondering what I could do to remove this. I was told baking soda and water?

I would rather not use a PC because I don't have one, and a respray is not worth it for right now.

Thank you in advance!

Nope,

The bodypanels are not rusted, they just have tiny tiny tiny particles that stuck to the paint when it was running off via rain.

Would baking soda work?

The thing I always use for that problem is GS27. Meguiar's ScratchX would work just as well. That stuff cleans up rust drips like that as if they were nothing. It works great. I cleaned up the tailgate of a Toyota Tacoma with those metal rails along the top of the bed that has rust dripping out from under them. It cleaned up with minimal effort. I am positive that it will work. :xyxthumbs
