Removing rust safely from brake drums?

It's really light rust to consider repainting them. That's what i'll do, KAIO and BF GEP which I happen to have. However; I ran out of FK1000P a while ago. An excuse to order another can, and they last forever. Only reason I ran out, I use it on all our boat and jetskiis in AZ. I have some wheel wax but I don't think that's the better option.

I wouldn't mind redoing them now and then. Thanks

Cool. It won't work miracles, but it was good enough for me on that MPV I used to have, and I'm pretty particular.

If you're using the BF GEP, better put something like BF on top. I dunno if the FK1000P will bond OK to the oils/etc. that the BF GEP leaves behind  OTOH, if you try BF GEP/FK1000P, post back about how it works/doesn't.

You're right, the oils etc will probably interfere with the outcome. I have some BF WD sealant, and then it might not last with the heat. Im detailing it this weekend. So i'll report back to see how it works out.
