Removing overspray from plastic?

I managed to remove all the overspray from the paint, but the plastic would not release the overspray. Any suggestions?

I have already tried Mineral Spirts, Paint Clean-up (sort of like spirits), #39, and even tested an area with 0000 steel wool, but it started to scratch.

I used the paint clean-up and clay to remove it off the paint, but the clay didn't do anything on the plastic. It is slightly textured. I am lost here.

Try microwaving some peanut butter for about 30 seconds and brushing it with a toothbrush on to the trim. I know this works for some trim staining, it's worth a try. Remember to use creamy peanut butter, the crunchy could be abrasive :rolling .
