Removing gum from chrome wheel???

Must have driven over some gum and after being on the highway have some strands of it on my chrome wheels. What can I use to remove it without damaging the finish?

Peanut butter, yes really, it will remove it very easily. Another method is to put ice on it and it will come off. I had this happen to my wife's car last August, melted gum alll over the quarter panel, strangest thing you ever saw.

you can also buy some freeze spray to freeze the gum off, is good to keep for carpets and clothes to remove gum
