Removing engine bay/underhood scratches

I've developed a few new underhood scratches on my 99 Trans Am that I would like to take care of. I tried some menz IP with no luck and was wondering what you guys would recommend? I just want them gone and there only on one spot.

I do have a PC with some 4" pads but im not 100% if that will fit in there.

Sounds like you might have to work by hand. I'd use M105, probably with some cut-up pieces of an orange pad. Then maybe follow up with the IP and then finish with something more gentle.

No way around it; doing correction in places where the machine can't reach is a PIA. I finally gave up on some spots like that on my Yukon...spent over half an hour on a small area and finally said "good enough" (well, I actually said something very different, but you get the idea ;) ).

Crap :( So i'd have to buy an entire bottle of 105 just for this reason. I do have this older compound made by Farcela (yellow bottle) this seems to be more abrasive than my IP......I might see how this works out.
