Removing a Sticker

I removed the pinstripes from a Mercedes ML430 this weekend with a hair dryer and peeling with my finger nails. I then applied some "Goo Gone" to the left over sticky stuff. I then took a terry cloth that was wet with regular car wash water mixture and rubbed it off until all the glue was gone. It worked like a charm.

The hair dryer trick is a good idea. Don't be surprised to find out that if the Corvette is parked in the mid-day sun the hood may get hot enough for you to easily peel off those letters without applying any additional heat from a hair dryer. Then again just running the motor may produce enough heat too.

im planning on doing the same thing with my car by taking off the safety check stickers and placing them on a bracket ill b attaching to on the bottom of my rear bumper.question tho, after using the hair dryer to soften up the adhesive, would i still be able to put the stickers on or will the adhesive wear off from the heat?

Depending on the amount of heat used during the removal process some of the adhesive may remain on the surface. Then they would not be reusable.
