Remove Wax prior to applying Werkstatt AJ?

Hi,

I know the best approach is to apply a sealant on a prepped surface and then top with carnuba if you want. I've got Collonite 845 on my Tahoe, different panels over the last month or sow after detailing. I just purchased some Werkstatt AJ and AJT.

Can I use the AJ over what I have now or is that a bad idea? If I should remove the wax first, what is the best product to use (Isopropyl?).

Thanks

Yes, you have to remove to get the bonding/durability out of any sealant. If you have any Prime/ Prime Strong than that would have been my first choice to remove any existing wax/sealant. Using a 50/50 iso/water would do it.

I agree with above. The AJ will not give best performance over a wax.

Best to prep with Prime or one of the Prime versions. If you don't have Prime but have Klasse AIO I would think that might work also.
