Remove light swirls before Zaino All in one?

Getting ready to use a new bottle of zaio on my G35.

It has some light swirls and some hazy spots where I used m105 on some rids.

Should I use some Wolfgang TSR to get this back to near 100% or will the correcting action of the zaio get it done?

I don't mind the extra step if it's necessary.

Thanks!

What machine/pad combo do you plan on using?

You can usually go 105 to ZAIO (white pad). However depending on how soft your paint is, you might not get much swirl removal. Its great for haze/micromarring. I'd experiment on your worst spots and go from there.

You might do pretty well with the flex. Make sure to go easy on the ZAIO, less is more.

Ive been thinking about adding zaio to my one-step group. Can this be used with the mf pads, or do I stick with the foam?

I had no idea ZAIO had enough cut to finish down a 105 pass. Could be a possible one-step product for me.

Well, in all fairness, some people claim to finish out with 105.... but yeah, on medium and softer paints, you can certainly finish out with ZAIO.

Had bad luck with the zaio.

Used it with a white pad on my flex. Several passes on a small section of my hood. I could not get the polish to wipe off very well. Looked very hazy and tracked from the pad.

No matter how hard I wiped with a MF buffing towel, it never cleared up.

So I got out the M-205 and got beautiful results..... Just hope the oils in 205 aren't masking defects.

Will find out tomorrow with an ipa wipe.

Any advice on the zaio? Others seem to love it and I don't really want to give up on it.
