L's come standard with 295 18zr45 - Goodyear F1's. I recently put on 4 new shoes - Nitto 555's, same size. Went with the Nittos because their side wall is smooth as opposed to the F1's which are full of tiny radial grooves. There is virtually zero tire dressing sling from the N's because there is nothing to "hold" the dressing.
L's also come tow rated for 5000 pounds, max tongue weight of 500 pouns. I took my hitch off since it is about 65 pounds. Every 100 pounds shed with these trucks = about 0.100 off the 1/4 mile times.
