Well Reflections Detailing of Utah was called do some plastic surgery on a clients Ford GT. A long time client wanted his GT all pretty for the local car show, but just wanted the blue stripe done. When I showed up and could see the whole car needed the love only I could give her. He agreed and was amazed how the white turned out later. This car is a beast to drive and almost equally so to detail, all the nooks and crannies.....

Process:

CWG

Claying

SIP PFW in places

106fa white

UF 3M blue

Rotary using the zenith method

IPA wipedowns

Leatherique

ONR

I know I did not give you a detailed play by play of the work, but you get the general idea of the work needed and the workmanship on the end.

Yummy! And the logo looks almost as good ;)! Did the owner take you for a spin??

Jesse, Ya.........the car makes the logo look good........lol For those that want to know Jesse designed my logo and web page....did a great job in my opinion!

No the owner did not take me for a ride, but I got to drive it myself. The Power curve is unreal!

On all the GTs I've worked on the stripe was a decal.

The paint looks really nice in the after shots Greg. :)

If it was a decal it was under the clear.

Thanks for the complement, it just glowed. Very nice paint to work with.

Cheers,

GREG

Car looks great!

For reference purposes; painted stripes were an OPTION on the GT's. So it will vary car to car.

Obviously; these were painted...which they all should have been anyway if you chose to have the stripes.

Cool, good to know. I've done a dozen of them and they've all been decals. I didn't even realize you could option them for paint. Now I know! :)

OK that's what I was wondering. I have vinyl stripes on my own car and haven't found a consenus on how to remove swirls from them.

Was the paint comparable in hardness to say a Lincoln Towncar or Marauder? How easily did everything finish down?

looks great! even white- it still shines and looks perfect. nice work!

The white in full sun is blinding, at the car show it was like white hot people commented all the time on how it looked. Thanks for the kudos!

MUCH better. Doing the stripe alone would not have done it. Good work. I like your website, too. Very straightforward and easy to navigate.
