Reduce Detail Times 30 Minutes: 4 tips

I don't understand the first part of the time saving tips. why dress tires if you have not cleaned them first, they must be cleaned first

some people are too focused on saving time. I'm all for snipping a little bit of time here and there but time equals quality and there is no way around that

the more time you put into a detail, the better it will be

And for those doing paint correction on your own, a 1 or 2 step in one day, sure but doing high end or concourse paint refinishing (perfecting) services as I do, it takes alot of time and that is just the way it is, no way around that.

unless someone invents a system to dissolve paint defects or a gel based permanent filling system, doing paint perfecting will always take a number of days for one person. less for two or three of course

I've spent anything from a day to seven days doing one car for many thousands of dollars. sure I dont always do that every day but there needs to be some time each year where you get a car in and go absolutely mental on it and break new ground in terms of paint finish quality

whilst there is always a place for the wash, clay, polish, seal and done services, paint perfecting involves these steps and time cannot be shortened for this as of yet

pre soak - tar, sap removal etc

paint decontamination washes with FK1 and Iron X etc

Clay paint, wheels, glass, trim etc - at least two hours up to four or more

1 step to correct

2 to 8 to get that ultimate result using 100 ppi foams at the end

then spray all surfaces to protect and done

oh and I believe that dressings are obsolete and I do not use them
