does this have any cutting power or is it a pure polish like Meguair's #7. I bought RMG a while back and forgot I had it!! ...*******.

anyway, help me out.

RMG doesnt have ANY cut. Its strictly to deepen/darken the paint.

VM has some light cutting abilities used with a polishing pad.

Anything out there you guys would compare it too?

Hand Glaze?

As in #81 Meguiars Hand Polish perhaps?

RMG is the deepest and wettest pure glaze I have ever used.

If your talking about 3M hand glaze then no. 3M hand glaze gives the paint a nice shine. RMG leaves the paint deep and wet looking.

Something that went around for a while is mixing RMG and VM 50/50 for a nice "Pink Wax". I believe scottwax was the first to post about it. Not sure if he still uses it though. I know I will someday.

I still use Pink Moose on paint in already excellent condition that maybe just needs a light cleaning before sealing.

So something like a brand new car would benefit from Pink Moose then? Just curious because I take delivery on a new car in a little over a week.

Clay, then Pink Moose, should clean up the car nicely from the ride from the plant to the dealer.
