Red Corvette

Beemerboy

Just One More Coat
This was yesterday detail, the white 4x4 truck that I did earlier this week, this is his wifes car.

After I washed the car I clayed the paint, it wasn't that bad really. This I used the orbital with a cutting pad and SSR1 to polish it out, followed with a finishing pad and black hole. Then topped that off with one coat of Nattys blue and one coat of Nattys red. Most of the time I top of with EX-P but this cars metallic just called for paste wax, I felt it would make the paint POP better, and it did

This inside was cleaned and then dressed with NL the leather seats where cleaned and conditioned with Leathique..I love the finish it leaves on the leather

Tires and wells where dressed with BnB, trim rubbers all dressed with TR

This was a fun car to work on:D

The best part is that I've made this a monthly customer with 4 cars total to work on

There's dirt in the treads of the tire. Hope you went back and corrected that after seeing the pictures. :)

I did and I didn't think anyone would notice:rofl

Car looks dripping wet. How many miles are on it? Looks like it has hardly any.

I don't know for sure its very low for an 04...She has a MB that I did the day before that is her DD, this is her weekend fun car..They own a refuse company in Marin County, very high income business

Are they headquartered in New York, somewhere around West Nyak? Do your best to please them lest you go mysteriously MIA!:D

Not that I am aware of, he inherited the business from his father, they've been in the area for decades

I've known this family for the last ten years, but for whatever reason he has never asked about getting his cars done. Once I was finished with the truck he was convinced that I was his go to guy now

I did 3 of his 4 cars this week, have him setup on a wash routine for each week and will do the 4th SUV in two weeks when they get back from vacation

Looks real nice Dave but since I have one I have a question.

How did you polish the lower body????? I lay on a creeper when I do mine but a youngin like you may have just bent over double. :rofl

On my knees to do that part...earlier in the week I was working on a ladder with a 4x4 and on this one I was laying on my back just about:D

Dave here is a tip for working on a Corvette and since you will be doing this one in the future you can try it.

While polishing or waxing park it on concrete and sit on a creeper as you do a section you can just roll down the side, Saves time and it is much easier on the back.
