Red Chevy SSR....18 pics!!!!

Great detail, but I don't love the car. Looks very different, which is fun. But too big and still useless as a pickup or sports car(that one seems to be tuned though) and only has two seats.

Wow great job. I love the style of the trucks (hell I love anything that is different). Great work all around.

525 HP!? :bolt

Did you find that the paint was that typical GM hard crap, or are they painted with a different system?

I love it!:waxing:

thanks to all for the kind words.

You mentioned that the tips were hard to clean, with the S100 polishing soap I'm guessing. Are you using the same thing to clean inside the tips?

the S100 was a breeze on the chrome outside. I didn't use that on the inside though... I used 00 steel wool and a soft wire brush......which really didn't do a lot. The pipes were so corroded from never being cleaned, and I didn't want to get crazy with the wire brush.

I'm not sure what everybody else uses to clean the inside, but I'd love to know.

The paint wasn't that hard from what could tell. I used the FP/RMG mix and it worked out well with a white CCS pad. The back took me the longest to correct...then used the FP/RMG after the OC/yellow to complete the finish.

She gets a little out of shape when you get in the pedal. I saw him take off down the road and all you see is smoke!!!:bow .......good stuff.
