Great job and love the way you explain your process. Can you tell me what product you are using on the trim that dies it. I would like to have that in my shop for those tuffer jobs.
Thanks
P.S.
The Piazza wax that you talked about in another thread is great I got some a month or two ago

Great job on that poor car! Is it just me, or are the headlights in bad shape??

WOW!!!

Wow Great work!!!!!
What kind of tape did you use to tape that off and where can I get some?
I just did an Olds Intrigue today and had to tape her up. I put 2 layers of tape on and a little bit didnt stick and the buffer ripped it right off the car. Needless to say I had to retape that area. The stuff your using looks alot higher quality.
By the way your post a couple days ago where you mentioned using AIO on wood trim....
I dont have AIO but I used one of my other polishes and I couldnt believe the difference.
Thanks for the good write ups.
:bigups

WHOA!:wait Do I have some replies to fulfill or what? This is what happens when work takes up about 12 hours of your day.....no time to respond on the forums!

I will attempt to reply to all who have asked questions and if I miss anyone please let me know.

Rabbi,

You're always fast with the kind and uplifting words and I cracked up when I read the "sissy scratches" comment. Wait till you see the M5 I am working on........talk about messed up!

Kayel, Beemerboy........

I appreciate the compliments and to answer you and any others seeking to know what trim dye I am speaking of you can check it out here http://www.topoftheline.com/trim-molding-dye.html Beemerboy.....glad the Pizazz is working out for you :)

Really good stuff but the key is LIGHT coats:)

Jeffbruce,

While the ppitting was bad it wasn't bad enough to snag or rip the pads. Thanks for the compliments.

Don,

The headlights looked foggy but actually pretty clear....I think it was just the angle the picture was taken.

Agent,

I buy my tape from Wal-Mart. It's in the hardware or painting section....thye have some in blue and some in a pink color. It's a bit cheaper than the 3M tape I used to buy at Home Depot.

Tom,

All in all this detail took me about 12 hours if done straight through. I had it for several days so I just worked on it as I had time.

To all, I sure appreciate the kind words and I have another detail going on of an M5 that I will try and document and post up.

Adios,
Anthony

Anthony, you continue to impress us all with those terrific results!

I look forward to your M5 project, there's nothing more i love than a beautifully reconditioned bimmer. :D

very nice job. for some reason, i like seeing the car all taped up, it looks like it can fly with that tape on. fashion statement. 12 hours, WOW............ i cant wait to see that M5, ive never got the opportunity to see a M5 in hawaii yet, only M3

Absolutely incredible !!!!

I had a vacation compared to the work you took on this week !!! You're attention to detail is on the same level as a brain surgeon !!! Look forward to the pics of the M5 !!! Thanks for the inspiration !!!

Big deal - I did a schwinn bike with a banana seat this week :lol

Dean,

It's 10:11 PM here in Texas and I JUST got home a few minutes ago. Over 20 days straight now.......:eek

I am gonna try and post PRE M5 pics tonight, that is if I don't fall asleep again at the computer:lmfao

Zesty and Badmother........

Thanks for the compliments:cool

groebuck.......

If that bike had a red bannana seat with a chrome sissy bar.....it's my old bike.........I mean my sisters old bike!

Thanks all,
Anthony

Just plain AWESOME.

Thank you for the information write up.

Which tape from Wally World do you using? I purchase the 3M from WM as the other brand which WM sells does not stick well to trim.

Is the M5 an older body style?

Eric

Well Mr. Orosco you laugh but I'm telling you straight. One of thse days I'll attack my "sissy scratches " (this is your phrase)and bad trim and let you know how well or bad I did. Right now it's a major feat for me if I don't step in the wash bucket or kick it over. You and others astound me with your work. Rick
