Red Carlack?

Then its the same right. Nothing wrong with that because there all good products.

Yup, all good stuff. I hope I didn't give the impression that Carlack is better than Klasse. If I use Carlack it's probably because I feel like picking up a yellow bottle that day.

Carlack do not reply my email yet but I've got email from AceHardware Indonesia who sell these products. Both yellow and red bottles are polish type category (seem version of AIO to me, not SG). The email also stated that the red bottle contains "more polyglaze and acrylic" by 5-10% than the yellow one hence give more protection.

Wonder that the red bottle acctually is CL68NT (new carlack base on new nano tech), which reviewed by Bence on other thread? (only 'VIP' and 'hightech' written on red bottle, no clue of nano tech stuff :idea )

Price difference is lees than 1 US$!!. The yellow bottle costs 8.0 US$ and red one is 8.70 US$ (both in 300 ml packaged). Mmmmhh,.... pretty cheap indeed if Carlack68 is identical to Klasse AIO :up

Yup, it is. I had seen the advertisement in an Indonesian magazine from the distributor of Carlack in my country. It is show the photo of the red bottle saying "with nano technology".............................

hi cuekaje, thanks for the update. Judging the update, looks like another product must-have... lol

Does carlack distro in indonesia sell its "longlife acrylic wax" (version of Klasse SG) also?

You can get Carlack nano-technology products in the US under the Jeff's Werkstatt name. Prime is the polish, Acrylic Jett is the sealant.

no problem at all, but I never seen the longlife acrylic wax in here. I use Carnauba wax instead after Carlack or if i feel like it I used Sonax Auto hart wax or Wurth Gloss Seal, or Autoglym EGP. Wanna try the fusco coat or kizz clear from Soft 99 also...

It may or may not be relevant but I asked Carlack about the differences between Carlack and Polylack. They said none, it was based upon different marketing segments.

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but just an update with regards to the difference between Poly-Lack and Car-Lack68.

Car-Lack68 contains more cleaning agents than Poly-Lack.

Poly-Lack contains more UV agents than Car-Lack68.

Poly-Lack for Marine and Poly-Lack for Air are exactly the same.

Car-Lack LLS and Poly-Lack LLS (both known as 'Acryl Wax' equivalent to Klasse SG) are identical.

I hope the above clears that up somewhat. :)

Poly-Lack with UV protectants and NANO Technology has also been rebranded in Australia.

Poly-Lack

NANOClean+ is the AIO variant. As per Germany Poly-Lack (NANOClean+ is 10% more durable than AIO with a little higher cleaning power)

NANOSeal is the HGSG variant. This product is slightly improved due to the introduction of NANO technology in helping bonding issues. Ease of removal has also been improved.

Hope this helps.

Yeah basically the 'NanoTech' (for want of a better word) technology inclusion means the formula molecules are smaller giving a denser acrylic ingredient that has a knock on effect of improving the bonding process.

However, from what I can see Klasse have run out of the original stock and may now be using the latest formula that includes the Nano Tech revision.

I dont think using Jeff's Prime/Acrylic as a benchmark test against AIO/SG is a valid one as it contains agents that dilute CL68/LLS to make it a sprayable product.

Some major thread-mining here...

There's a few places like waxit that stock both the Poly-lack Nano twins and the Klasse twins, yet the Poly-lack is around $15 per bottle cheaper but they are said to be the same product. Is this correct?? Is the Klasse superior and as a result a bit more expensive, or is the Poly-lack superior but a bit cheaper because it's less well-known?

As soon as I saw it , I imagined the red one being their version of SG

Since carlack 68 yellow is much easier to apply and remove than Klasse AIO and with better results, I will get onto my supplier in ACT (official carlack distributor) about the red one and about possibility of getting a five litre bottle of it from them. (yellow comes in 300ml, 500, 1 litre, 3 litre and 5 litre)

From my testing, carlack 68 yellow, Klasse AIO, Poly lack Nano clean and Werkstatt prime - prime acrylic all achieve tiny differences in results and they smell fractionally different

I found that carlack 68 yellow by hand is ultra easy to apply and remove and absolutely nothing like Klasse AIO plus get better finish. (like removing a QD), a few wipes and all done.

However by machine, none can achieve the results of Prime Acrylic, which leaves a flat coating over the top of orange peeled paint, thus looking like it's been wet sanded and polished. (PICS TO PROVE IT) and stays slicker longer than when hand applicated

Will stay like that until you polish the paint with the machine and any other product.

Hey they are all top products. I think werkstatt is just the latest generation from carlack whereas the rest are slightly older.

I mixed prime Acrylic, Carlack yellow, nano clean and Klasse AIO together and added Ultra gloss Super polish/sealant and applied by machine to rear bumper of my car and the results were insane. Especially under flouro's.

Incredible protection too.

Man you are a mad scientist...you are always talking about stuff you mix together! :grinno: You are really going to be a wild man when you get your hands on some PolyCharger...:2thumbs:

SVR,

How did you get your hands on the Werkstatt Prime down here??

Also, What's your opinion on the Klasse twins vs the Poly-Lack Nanotech twins??

Cheers

Well car care is my passion and I love mucking around with products.

Like mixing prima slick with duragloss aquawax as slick doesn't have any protective qualities.

Adding 951 so far seems to add to the slickness that slick provides, provides the protection that slick does not and works really nicely on top of AJT for some more wetness without using paste carnauba waxes that can leave residue, attracts dust, break down with high pressure water rinsing and melt in the harsh south aussie sun

Same with mixing wolfgang sealant with UPP. Wolfgang isn't a strong sealant really but very slick and as we know UPP doesn't stay slick for long so WG helps that.

Plus I have so many products, that using the same stuff all the time would mean alot of expensive products left on the shelf

Sometimes I get an idea pop into my head and out I go and mix it up.

I emailed jeff after seeing it mentioned for the first time on here, stating that I must try it and is their anyway to get him to send me some. A deal was struck and here I am today with a large supply for use with my detailing service.

doesn't matter that some manufacturers/wholesalers/retailers have no international shipping policy, I just bring my case to them and they agree to send it or I get an autopian from that area to get it and ship it to me

(ex - I tell TOL what I want & Mr Ultimate reflections gets it for me and ships it off

Well I believe that both are made in the same factory, however klasse is a much older version.

My experience with them indicates that poly lack is slightly easier to use (especially remove) and gives a better finish. Klasse seems very sterile.

Nano clean & Prime although different are definately better than Klasse AIO.

I just noticed this place selling carlack locally at $42 for 1 litre... I think they're the ACT based place you referred to.

Is the Carlack68 the same as Poly-lack Nano? (just for different markets)

It's all too confusing...

It seems you think Carlack and Poly-lack are better than Klasse AIO (why is Klasse still so popular if it is the least competent of all the other acrylic all-in-ones from the same formula??), but is one better than the other (or are they the same)??

Yes that's correct.

Nano clean is as close to 68 yellow as it's gonna get.

AIO doesn't provide the glassy finish that 68 does and not as good as JW prime acrylic, strong and carnauba - especially by machine.

SVR, sorry to bug you again, but you seem to be the local acrylic guru...

Is the Carlack68 the best AIO locally out of Klasse, poly-lack and Carlack?? It seems to be the cheapest too..

What would be your opinion on Carlack68 yellow with Poly-lack Nanoseal over the top??
