Recommend easy to apply Sealant for my Black car

I'm taking deliver of my black Lexus IS250 in 2 weeks. I have requested the dealer not to do the dealer prep. The untouched black car should be flawless.

Can anyone recommend a good sealant /wax thats easy to apply and will look very good on black cars? I'm leaning towards sealant since it would be nice if it lasted at least 4 months before reapplication. I was thinking about Klasse AIO topped with either Klasse SG or P21S.

You should give it a good wash (2 bucket and use MF towels) and maybe some clay bar on those areas that need it. I would go with Ultima from DavidB or Zaino from Sal. And also welcome to the Autopia and Happy Detailing!

Check out Zaino Show Car Polish. It's the longest lasting sealant I've ever used, next in line would be RejeX.

Put on a couple coats of Z5 then a shot of Z Clear Seal and you'll easily get 6-9 months protection on your car.

Here's my truck after 4 months with nothing but 2 coats of Z5.

Pretty good stuff.

Prima Epic. Really easy to use, its not finicky and won't streak easily. It you put it on too thick a little spritz of your QD will take care of it. Its really slick and looks great on black.

Meguiar's #21 Synthetic Sealant looks fantastic on black! And it's super easy to wipe off too. I find it makes my black finish look darker than Zaino Z5 does. It also hides minor scratches better too.

Klasse AIO + thin top coat of Klasse SG. It's an unbeatable combo and can be topped with any carnauba you like.

Correct me if I'm wrong guys but isn't Zaino an imitation of Klasse? Klasse has been around since the 1960's.

I definitely wouldn't say Zaino is simply an imitation of Klasse... Just because Klasse began earlier doesn't necessarily mean everything made after it is just a copy. Klasse SG tends to have issues highlighting defects in the paint, from what I've heard. Zaino, on the other hand, seems to be liked by everyone, except for the slightly higher than needed prices.

Buds paint sealant at detail plus is very easy to remove from a cool surface and last up to six months, great product

OK, I decided to order the Ultima Paint Guard Plus sealant. Since this should be an untouched flawless car, should I claybar and use the Ultima Paint Preparation?

I am personally not a fan of Sealants on black, either they have a wet glass look (not so bad) or worse, a wrapped in Saran Wrap look. I think the longest I have had a sealant on my black car is a couple of weeks before I have to put a carnauba over it.

I don't think any wax under $100 (except maybe Souveran) can touch Clearkote's Carnauba Moose on black. I get 4-5 months durability with it too.

Optimum Polish and Carnauba Moose...
