Recommend Air Freshener?

Well, here is the deal. My car isn't dirty, there isn't anything that needs to be cleaned on the interior. But it just smells stale. What do you guys use when detailing cars to give it a nice fresh scent?



PS - I hate the smell of those dangling air fresheners.
 
I know Griot's offers odor eliminator thing, search for other. BTW air fresheners just cover up the smell.
 
Check out sparkle auto for the air fogger. The new car smell I did on our Volvo and it has been 3 months and still perfect. Not bad for $5.

Ditto, the BIG D foggers from sparkleauto is what i use. They work so well i always keep a case in my trailer.



You could also invest in a tub of wonder wafers.
 
I got the little tree hanging from my rearview (Josh is laughin it up right now!)



I really dont like the scent that much but I'm lazy sometimes!



That fogger that Josh talks about works really well. Like he said, the new car scent has lasted him FOREVER!

what about doing the baking soda on the carpet then a vacuum ? is that somthing that actually works? ive heard that that will take out a lot of the odor from a vehicle.
 
i just use one of these and keep it in one of the cup holders, it's only a buck and there are over 10 different scents to choose from...

WONDER WAFERS!
 
I recommend you NOT to use CG air freshner in that gallon bottle. Lasts about 2 days. Smells good but doesn't last. Yet another CG product I am not satisfied with.



Where do you get the wonder wafers?
 
Like I said earlier. The Big D Fogger from Sparkle auto is now going on 6 months of new car scent. Still no let down. Costs about $5.

Which one? They have like 10 different air freshener / odor eliminators.



Just out of curiosity, what other Chemical Guys products were you not satisfied with and why?
 
if you want to get rid of a musty/bad odor spray a 1:1 water:vinegar mix onto the carpet, upholstry and headliner and let it sit and evaporate by itself. Also, let the car sit in the sun with the windows cracked while you have a bowl of straight vinegar sitting in one of the foot wells. The evaporation of the vinegar will eliminate most of the odor. This has worked for me, although the smell was not too bad to begin with.
