Recommend a window cleaner !

Will be doing my windows tomorrow so I need a cleaner and treatment(RainX) recommendation. I've always used Stoner's Invisible Glass and RainX. What is as good or better than these? Thank you all in advance. Rick

I really like Eagle One 20/20, its one of the best OTC glass cleaners on the market. If you can wait another week or so, i'd suggest getting a sample of Adams upcoming glass cleaner, i was very impressed with it.

I find Zep Window cleaner from Home Depot to do a great job cutting through film. Sometimes I do need to follow with a simple water:alcohol spritz though.

Rick,

If you need to pick up something local, the new NXT glass cleaner is excellent.

If you want to "go crazy", here's what I do....

Wash the windows with a good car wash and rinse.
Using the same car wash suds....... clay the windows and rinse.
Get some of the mildest (make sure it's the mildest) Bon Ami cleanser.
Wet down the windshield.
Put some of the Bon Ami cleanser on a soaking wet wash mitt ( a mitt dedicated to this)
Scrub the windshield with the Bon Ami cleanser and rinse thoroughly.
Dry the windshield.
Use a good window cleaner to "finish it off"! :D

EDIT: Spray & Wipe also makes a fine window cleaner! :bigups

While having my monthly whine session with Steve (PB) last night he told me to put 1/2 of a capful of PB APC into a 32 oz squirt bottle, fill it up with water, shake it up, and use it on windows.

I've probably used over 600 gallons of this stuff (for all kinds of cleaning), but NEVER thought to use it on windows.

I tried it, and as of today, I'll probably never use anything else.

The DP and Diamondite are both great. And the Diamondite glass repellant I think is much better than Rain-X.

i just got the IG aerosol can yet to try but i was using windex auto spray bottle and worked fine with no smell to it either compared to the aerosol .

I'll second this I just tried it today and it rocks as a glass cleaner!!

Two great ideas here. Thanks to Coastal Eddie and 08 Patriot. I'll have to try the PB idea and I have wanted to try the Duragloss before.

I have been using Sprayway too. Interestingly enough it came in second in a recent Consumer Reports review. Windex with ammonia came in first. They did not test other brands like Stoners, etc.
