Recommend a Megs more agressive than M83 for Cyclo?

Got my SIP and played around with it - I must say this thing kick's Meguiar's ***, atleast on the cyclo.

I had several marks in my Z06's clearcoat that 80/83/95/105 would not lift. Even with yellow pad. Did a panel with orange/SIP and BIG difference - took out most of the marks.

2-3 passes with it and an orange pad was enough to remove 99% of the defects.

basically

orange/SIP

white/OPM

wax

made it

Not to be a naysayer, but you might want to prepsol that panel *just* to be sure. I am probably wrong, but typically SIP will not outcut 105, in fact it shouldn't even be in the same universe; it is possible SIP filled some of your marring. I hope I am wrong and like I said, I probably am, but really, SIP shouldn't have anywhere near as much cut as 95 or 105.

Right, but we're talking about a cyclo here - even the Meguiar's people kinda ho'd and hum'd about using 95/105 on a cyclo. They kept insisting rotary only, and that the results wouldn't be anywhere in the same league.

So yea, probably on a rotary 105 would kill it, but a cyclo just doesn't have enough go to really do much with 105.

I still wonder how it'd work with it using the yellow wool pads  CycloToolmakers said they're the same as the Edge yellow wool.
