recomendation for final sealant on RED

Bob, your car always looks great, regardless of what you use on it. The Klasse versions look a bit wetter (but not deeper) and brighter than #26 but that could be the difference in lighting. I think you would really like PBs EX w/carnauba, it will give you a more "#26" look and it has been very durable for me.
 
How about 5 Star Shine? From its website, I learned that this product was made from PTFE (teflon) but it used PPS technology to make it bonding with the car paint for a long time. This product claims that it will protect your car paint up to 5 years for new car and 3 years for used car without any necessity to wax your car.



Did anyone ever try this product? Can I have your comment please because I am considering to buy this product.



I also learn there is another paint protection that gives 5 years protection, i.e., Glare with Glassplexin. Which one is better, Glare or 5 Star Shine?

Try FMJ. I've had it 4+ months no problems at all. It needs a true polish as a base (FP,SSR's) , goes on and off like butter. 2-3 coats is all you need, no topper.

Just out of curiousity, what did you use for a base for FMJ? I know AIO can cause problems with durability when used as a base for FMJ.
 
Excuse the total ignorance here (still learning..) but how come no one has recommended Souvern? Isn't that a popular product on red (and black cars)? Or, is the term "Sealant" as used here not referring to a final wax?

Yes, Souvern looks great on red, but original post stated "I don't like carnauba because it comes off after about 3 weeks."



Souvern is both a carnauba and a âہ“beauty waxâ€Â� not known for longevity, so it hasn't been mentioned.

Agreed, although it has been as durable as S100 for me. Souveran looks great on red but I normally only use it on vehicles I wax very regularly or over sealants. I offer it to my customers as a beauty wax option.
