Recent shots with the new SLR of the stable

Sean,

First, I'd like to say CONGRADS! on the event in London! It's about time!!

Oh and I still have the P085RD sitting in storage waiting for warmer weather for your use. Also more products that don't see much use since I too am busy as all hell.

Nice shots of the "stable" I see you're now using the CS. I'm waiting to try the Z-AIO once it gets warm and dry enough as the black on my "P" car has taken a real beating!:furious:

On March 3rd, we (PCA Members-Zone-1) are having a Tech Tactics meet at FarnbacherLoles in Danbury. This is a big event with all Porsche owners showing up for updates to their cars and new ideas. As for my Porsche, nothing new... yet..:chuckle: I need screens on the front air intakes for sure! Next, maybe a full Bilstein PSS9 for PASM coilovers to lower it a bit, then a bit of engine tweaks. FarnbacherLoles is one of the top Porsche race teams and modification site. They have a Cayman called a GTR that uses the 3.8 X51 engine from my C2S, full Cross coilovers, new exhaust, Revo ECU and more, it's one sick car!

One day I'll have to give you a ring!!:up

Glad to see you're posting now and then.

Regards,

Deanski

Kenney: Nope, it's been used before, mainly with just Z2/Z5 Pro.

Dino: Thanks, my friend!

If the Porsche event is open to the public or *friends* of Porsche owners, I'd love to stop by :).

Thanks everyone.

Sean,

Although it's not open to the public, I have a slot open and paid for for Saturday (wife is staying home... YEAH.. oops did I say that? :D ) You're welcome to come if you wish.

I'll PM you with my number once again and give you a bit more info.:up

I really like the Saab 'vert. I have become attached to the 9-3s.

Nice choice on the camera too. I have the older EOS 350D (Rebel) and I have enjoyed it very much. Had 3000 exposures last year and the camera never missed a beat with the 28-135 IS USM.

Lookin good Sean! How you like the Sebring?

Clean car is EXTREMELY important in sales. Makes an impression as soon as you drive up. Clean car and a nice suit, you present better than 80% of your competition I promise you.

Funny story, I just came in from ONR'ing the Lexus and my neighbor came home, he has a company Grand Cherokee and he was saying how he loves being able to beat it all up, never wash it, and turn it in every 60k miles lol. I'd never be able to do that either.

I've been busy like him! That and the weather here has been so awful (as you well know) seeing all the bright shiny cars was making me sad LOL. I think I went 4-5 weeks with no wash, thats a record for me.

Mine's clean and I'm back now though!

Sean,

Good to see you posting here again. I miss your indepth detail posts and pics of the past. It really helped pass the day. How is Pharm sales treating you-long hours? What were you thinking getting a black company car-only an "ex" detailer would do that :)

Not trying to hijack Sean's thread!

I finally had enough of dirty cars & today I washed & waxed both.

We took a week trip all over PA. Things started out just fine :D

I finally have tires on my wheels that are off the car so don't ask why the different wheels.

in about 4 weeks they will be back on. :wall :chuckle: :chuckle:

Thomas: You know, when I was hired, I was part of a re-alignment with my company and they allotted all the new sales reps with certain vehicles, mainly 2007 Sebrings and I didn't get to choose the options or colors. To be honest, I was in stitches when the salesman told me it was black before I picked it up. I knew it was inevitable!

The car gets about 700 miles per week put on it, so by Friday it looks hellish. It is a bit swirled as they did dealer prep and the guys who did the first oil change ran it through the swirl-0-matic afterwords, but overall, it's looking pretty good with the Zaino on it. In about a month or so, I will break everything down and clay, polish, and seal it. It's a pretty cool car and I get a lot of looks due to the new styling, but man is it pig sh1t slow!

I got my Canon Rebel XTi from Dell.com when they were running a pretty insane deal. Shipped to my door, I think I paid around $650 (back in November). Go on eBay to find the coupons.

2000firebird: I always like playing with the settings, mainly F-stop and shutter speed. I'm sure a couple were in Auto, but which, I couldn't tell ya. The camera is pretty specific to what you want it to do and like I said, I'm still learning :).

Steve: Yep, I'm pretty fanatical about it compared to most. I love to have the cleanest rep car in the doctor's parking lot :). +1 on the suit comment too...Some of the other sales reps I see surprise me in how they got their job. What is the stat? 80% of what you say isn't the words coming out of your mouth? Something very high like that.

74: From here on out, I will only get a black company car :). Even though it gets beat up on the road, it is very rewarding to walk out to it after each call. Pharma Sales is amazing, I really couldn't ask to be in a better place...And yes, pretty long hours, lots of admin work :).

Surfer: I knew at least one person would :).
