Hey Steve,
I was just about to send you a PM with this question, but thought that some other folks might have the same curiosity I do...
Just wondering why it is that different but similar products specify different applicators. For instance, waxes are almost always applied with a foam applicator, whereas I just used EX for the first time, and noticed that it specifies a microfiber applicator. Happened to have one buried at the bottom of my tote, so I used it for the first coat. Then I promptly forgot it at the friend's house I was detailing at yesterday, so I used a foam applicator for a second coat today. Seemed to make the product go a lot farther, presumably due to less absorption into the applicator.
Is it something in the chemical makeup of the different products that makes one type of applicator better than another? Will I somehow get 'less' protection from my second coat since I applied it with foam?
Just one of those "inquiring minds want to know" type questions. :howdy
