Hi all,

I'm a newbie at this so I have a question for you knowledgeable guys ..

my car is light gray, it is 4 years old and the paint is still in great shape; however, the rear bumper's paint is stained from the salt, sand, etc. from using the car last winter.

I tried washing it with different car shampoos but nothing seems to clean it.

What would you suggest? Would something like a tar remover work?

TIA

What do you mean by stained? I have never seen salt or sand stain paint unless you mean like water spots from the calcium? Got pics?

I will post pictures tomorrow ...

sorry I was out of town ..

here are the pictures

looks like it would probably come up with a light abrasive ... you might want to wait for another opinion but I would proably say to dive into that with Poorboys SSR 2.5 If thats not abrasive enough to remove it I would say to then step up to SSR 3....

Be aware that you when using SSR 3 you will need to follow up with SSR1 (i think)
