So this is what I have laid out right now, keep in mind I wont be correcting every car this is mostly for my car and maybe a few customers depending on how well I can sell it. Anyway here is the list, please feel free to make changes or suggestions, need to keep it as cheap as possible while still being effective.

M105 if someone can find it cheap

Danase Swirl Abolisher I

Danase Swirl Abolisher II

Danase Swirl Abolisher III

Danase Pure Polish

Total: $261

I chose Danase becasue the products can be used in direct sunlight which is great because in the summer we dont get many cloudy days, also they are priced very reasonably, also we get a forum discount.

Like I said before if someone can find some 105 for cheap ill take it but how does it do in sunlight? if it cant handle it im just going to stick with Danse.

With the PC, I would recommend getting 5.5 inch pads. They move quicker, cut better due to that, and fit in tighter spaces.

Just my 2 cents.

Im guessing that package for the pc is from autogeek. As much as I like danase products M105 and M205 i think is a lot more versatile.

The M105/205 combo can be had for $70 from autogeek. Thats not including the 10% discount and free shipping right now. In the end it would come out cheaper than those 4 products.

I havent done extensive testing with the m105/205 in the sun so I cant comment on its workability there.

Even better, if your worried about working in the sun. Poorboys is sold on AG. When I order I like to order from one vendor to save on shipping costs, and you cant get any cheaper than free.

You could get ssr3, ssr2.5, and ssr1 to match the danase products. I believe poorboys also something similar to the pure polish.

In the end though, danase is a great line. I stand behind their wet glaze and sealant, and im sure you wont be disappointed with the swirl abolishers. I just think its cheaper to order from one vendor at the same time

If you aren't going to use Meg's M105 and/or M205, you might want to reconsider your pad sizes. The PC really needs smaller pads to get decent (or any, for that matter) results when correcting/polishing paint.

I would seriously reconsider:

Switching to 5.5" or smaller pads (5.5" would be perfect for M105 and M205)

Switching polishes to Meguair's Ultimate Compound (8 bucks at walmart) and Swirl X (about the same price) a lot of people are saying that those two products are great substitutes for M105 and M205. They should be, since they are based on the same technology, then packaged in their "consumer" line.

It's really hard to describe how important the Meg's line of polishes is to DA users. Prior to these products, the PC was *extremely* limited in it's ability to both correct and polish paint. The Meguair's line has simply made all other polishes obsolete for use with a PC. Seriously, it's *that* big of a thing.

I do not believe these products would be usable in the sun, but then again, I'm too much of a whimp to ever try to do a paint polishing job in the sun; it's just too much work and I'm in my heart attack years. :)

Do yourself a *huge* favor.... get the Meg's products. You won't regret it.

And as Supe mentioned. Ultimate Compound is about as close as you can get to 105. You can find it locally for $9 or so. Get yourself some SwirlX at the same time for about $9, call it good for polish, and save yourself $240. If you want to add a glaze to that then pick up some Meg's DC2 while you are at it. That's a pretty inexpensive setup and it will do really nice work on a PC.

Irkie500- Yeah, unless you're using M105/M205 I'd sure want smaller pads for correction; 6" ones simply waste my time when it comes to defect removal. But yeah, you really oughta use those products.

If you're on a tight budget I don't think you need both gray and blue pads. Both are in the minimal/zero cut range and I dunno if you'd even appreciate any differences between them Heh heh, back in the day we got by pretty well with a *VERY* limited selection of pads.

Also, I don't see the need for the pad condioner (I don't use any such stuff with the PC) or the pad cleaner (just use Dawn, especially their Power Dissolver).

I bet you can save some money by putting together your *own* "package", including just the stuff you really need.

Yellow Meg's for Ultimate Compound and either yellow or black Meg's for SwirlX depending on how much cut you need and how well you want it to finish out,

Ok here is the revised list:

2 White CCS Pads 5.5 Inch

2 Black CCS Pads 5.5 Inch

Megs Ultimate Compound

Megs Swirl X
