Really impressed with ClearKote Quik Shine

Did you get lost?

You are definitely out of your usual neighborhood.:)

Nice job though. I appreciate the fact that you do a product/sequence listing on your pictures. It provides a nice frame of reference when comparing the looks provided by different products.

What does determine the wax product you use? I noticed you used American Shine on the Integra and S100 on the Tempo.

Just testing products. AS has a little cleaning properties so I can skip a final glaze if the paint still needs a little extra but they don't want to pay for another step.

just wanted to say, that Qwik Shine is definetely a great product. I used it for the first time today and it has officially become my favorite QD.

i think a groupbuy would be a great idea. Maybe even buy the stuff in concentrated quantites so we can use our old QS bottle and save a few bucks.

Scottwax,

Great shot of the Integra with one pass of the Vanilla Moose. You seem to make all the cars you touch look great!

I have a quick question:

For Xmas, I am going to detail my Dad's 740iL, (Jet Black, 1999), and unlike my car, he has not been as retentive as I have. He has scratches all over the car from the places he has taken it to get washed. I was going to try: Wash, Clay, Wash again, Meguires DACP with my PC, Meguires Machine Glaze or Meguires No. 7 before either new Blackfire and or S100 Wax. How does this sound and or do you have any other suggestions.

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,
