Really impressed with ClearKote Quik Shine

I have been using Quik Shine for a couple for weeks now. I am impressed with the gloss and the slickness of the paint after using this QD. Today I found 3 bird bombs on my car(birds seem to love a silver car). I sprayed a bit of Quik Shine and it removed the bombs easier that my previous bird bomb QD- Meguiars FI. Quik Shine has been a real find.:xyxthumbs

Yeah, and let's not forget who found it....;)

Good thing I was out of Meguiars #34 when I went into that automotive shop in the mall!:up

Yes lets not, what was the name of the shop we can all call them and congradulate them.

HYPER-formance in Arlington. 817 640-4406

I asked the guy who worked there about it before I bought it and he said he and his Dad were at a car show and found out about it there. Said it worked better than any QD he had ever used. He seems to have been correct.

I cannot recall but is it good over both carnauba and synthetic sealants? Is it good to use in direct sunlight?:nixweiss

How does it compare with EF Clear Pearl?

Much better- EF Clear Pearl attracts too much dust and is not as good at removing bird bombs and the like. Clear Pearl seems to have less lubricity (is that a word?) for removal of bird droppings and other crap.

I am seriously digging the QuickShine too! I love how you can apply it in direct sun with no streaking:up As much as I loved the slickness of Z6, it was really aggrevating the way it would streak if I didn't do it under the ideal circumstances. Thanks Scottwax for showing us the light:cool:

You are killing me. I got my brother to order me a gallon for Christmas and now I have to wait another month to try it and listen to everyone rave about it. Just as well though it will give me enough time to use up the EO Wet Wipe and Shine I still have.

I was wondering what was in it also. The WebSite says is "contains no teflons, silicones, alchohol or abrasives". I asked ScottWax and he said it was great over S100 but that he had no idea about Klasse since he has never used Klasse. He did mention in his thread that it was not carnauba based. PakShak said it looked great over BF. After all that I said "gotta have it."

Where are you going to get it from? Mail order? Or are you going to stick with your other favourite?

not using this product?

Lots of good press on this forum. Especially for the QD. How many more satisfied Moose Wax customers? And the polish product coming out the first of the year. Was Mr. Glass ever presented the idea of a group buy? Was he interested?

Right now, he is on a southeastern US car show circuit, so I don't know how easy he is to get hold of personally right now. I can drop him an e-mail to see if he is interested. I am definitely getting more Vanilla Moose when it comes out. It is an excellent light polish.

You can see what effect one single pass by hand with Vanilla Moose did on a moderately oxidized Integra:

I'm interested. Scottwax, I knew you were using the Moose wax and I have seen at least one other that has mentioned it. Your results with the Vanilla Moose were, as always, impressive. From the looks of the picture, it is also a product that can be applied in the sun or shade like Moose Wax and the American Shine wax.

Too bad you were out of film. I would have loved to see the end results on that Integra.
