Really Dirty car wash

I am looking for advice on how to wash my car. Yesterday, I completed a mileage rally (lots of fun), moslty on paved roads, but with a dirt road or two. Know my car has a coating of dirt on the sides, similar to how a car would look in a northern winter. How do I wash it?

1. Spray down and wash with cotton mitts

2. Take to DIY spray booth and use light pressure then complete #1.

3. Take to laserwash and then complete #1

I am leaning towards #3.

If it was really dirty, I would take it and pressure wash everything. Then drive home and wash it again by hand.

Sorry, thought everyone know what the laserwash was. The laserwash is a touch car wash, no brushes, no clothes just pressurized water and soap. Usually what gas stations have.

I hope this helps.

I will probably take my car there during the winter.

may be a dumb question, but what is laserwash?

Medic -- "laserwash" is the touch-free system at most gas stations. It just uses very high powered water streams and concentrated detergants, without any of those harsh brushes.

If it were me, I would go to a DIY bay and pressure wash with soap, but stay away from that sudding broom thing... :nono

Why can't you people leave things alone. A short while ago we had a car wash with no clothes and touching. Now you have it all messed up.

I think you meant cloths, not clothes... although I'm sure a nudist car wash could make some money. :D
ROTFLMAO!!! It'd only make money if they hired a bunch of HOT women (and a few Chippendale's models too :p).

Now, if they went and hired the "usual" car wash staff, like Oleg from the grease pit....

Although nothing touchees the car in a laser wash, I got one of my rimms scratched by the little wheel placement device that tells you when you are in far enough.

I would stick to a wand wash during winter.
