Yikes! It gets that cold in Texas?? Burrrrr......

It is not that bad actually. We usually get a total of 1 month combined, not in a row, of very chilly weather. Maybe even less than that.

Today, I went back out to re wash it. Temps are in the 80's

Yeah, I agree a $25 is a lil low. I do a black one twice a week for that price (yes, I said twice per week :) ). Since I do four vehicles twice per week for them, along with monthly waxing, and other services, the account averages $800+ per month. I think it's worth it to sometimes give that break for the steady year round income.

break it down like this... 10 clients/day @ $100/mo = $200k+/yr ????

[small]However, there is no @#$% way I'd do it in 27 degree temps for twenty-five bucks!!

I'll tell you what though, with the location I am at, I am getting a crazy amount of people stopping. It is actually kind of irritating when I am trying to get done in a hurry. But, I do book about 2 jobs every time I go out there. I mean, I would like to get a bit more, but the free advertising, and sitting in a prime location make up for it.

BTW, I did book one appointment when I was washing in that freezing weather.

Sounds to me like you made a darn good decision in taking that job. Planned or not, the spinoff work due to the location could more than make up for the hit you (intentionally) took in order to get the wash work in the first place.
