So I got up a 6 this mornin and started cleanin my truck, cuz I am plannin on goin fishin here in a few minutes. Anywho, I finished up around 12:30 and was driving around town lookin for something good to eat when I get behind a 98 style beat all to heck Dodge Ram. This kid, around 13-14, leaned out the passenger side window and threw his plastic cup full of ice and coke all over the hood of my new truck. The thing that really pissed me off is that I laid on the horn and when I pulled up beside him an older woman, I am guessing his mom, thought it was the funniest thing in the world.
 
And then they wonder why the world is against them when they have to bail their kids out of jail later on in life....

Sounds like the both of them should be sent away....
 
being 18 and only a few yrs aways from that kid im disgusted. Its a few bad appls that wreck it for the whole group. I know from personal experiance that myslef nor most aother teens are not abd its just a few Jackasses that weck for the rest of us ARG :censored:
 
Sounds like the egg story that was posted a while ago. you did the right thing,what scares me is the next person who he does this too may not be as nice as you.. What comes Around Goe's Around..
 
I'm a teenager, 17, but nowhere near as big of a d*ck as that kid. I would have followed them and got the plate number. Or had a large cuss fest after they got where they were going and I followed them. I don't put up with that stuff.

I would've made the kid (or his mom) pay you for your time to clean the truck back up after that. It's amazing how nasty some folks can be, they just don't have any consideration for others trying to keep stuff nice.

Plus, 9 times out of 10 they don't have anything worth appreciating (junky cars), so they naturally don't care about anyone else.

My honest assessment of that is, these folks are actually embarrassed about their nasty cars, and since they don't want to take the money or time to fix them, they'd rather just trash everyone else's rides so they feel better about themselves.

It's kind of an immature way to handle things, I know, but I find that even some adults are petty enough to try bringing everyone else down to their level. "Misery loves company."
 
I read this and though what I would really do if this happened to me. I hope it doesn't because I know I would be in trouble when I was finished educating them on why not to mess with my vehicle. If and when they regained consciousness I would have some other problems to deal with besides cleaning the car. For my sake and theirs I hope nobody is going to be stupid enough to do that to my property.
 
Maybe you should change your hobby to hunting...


If you kept a gun rack in your rear window with unloaded rifles in there at all times, I find it hard to believe anyone would screw with you.

Sorry to hear about this...I've suffered my fair share of automotive vandalism as well.

I don't hunt. I don't and never would get a thrill out of hunting down an innocent living thing and blowing it away. Live and let live unless you mess with my car then it's live and help to die. :chop

I didn't say it was wrong to kill animals to eat meat. I said i don't get off on hunting down a living thing and killing it. No thrill in the hunt for me. Killing to eat and killing because you get off on it are entirely two different mind sets.
