I think I'm all set to hit my black 4Runner with it's first good detailing job. My plan is :



Dawn Wash

Clay Magic

Vanilla Moose wax

Moose wax

S100



Am I forgetting anything. I'll be using the PC with Griots orange and red pads. Do I need to use a swirl remover before the Vanilla Moose or will that be enough.
 
Scratch using three different waxes. Use a polish and follow up with whatever wax you prefer.
 
Vanilla Moose Wax Hand Glaze -- different than Moose Wax -- sounds like it might help with minor swirls.



But why are you planning to use two waxes? I think (but correct me if I'm wrong) that Moose Wax and S100 would be redundant. Maybe try one this time, then the other next time, and compare results.
 
Your plan sounds good to me. You will need to test an area to see if VM will remove your swirls. Since VM and MW are designed to work together and as other have reported that combo gives a greart shine. The S100 topper sounds good since there are no cleaners in the S100 to remove the MW. Try a test area to see how the S100 looks over MW. Try it and report back.
