Re-wash or just spray off......

In the middle of swirl removal/polishing my car. Ive been able to work on and off for a week (damn the weather!), but over the weekend I pulled the car out to clean my garage. Now all the dust generated by the cleaning is on the car.

My question is if I can get away with just showering it all off and drying the car, or if I should wash the whole car again. As always, time is a problem, so the more I can save the better :) Car hasnt been driven, so its just "dusty" and not dirty.

Thanks!

I'd probably use spray and wipe or wash it. I wouldn't use a QD because many/most have wax and that can impact the bonding from a sealer step. If your not going to seal it, then a QD would work too.

I'd definately go with Spray and Wipe! Some QD's have more cleaning power than others and will strip some of your LSP if you have anything down yet. A good "shower" and dry would work just fine too if you don't have any S&W.

Thanks for all the suggestions!! I just decided to get off my perverbial butt and actually wash the car :) Since it hasnt been driven at all, and is half clayed (one side at a time), it only took 15 minutes to wash and another 10 to dry.

I havent even gotten to the AIO step yet, much less my LSP. So it didnt matter if a QD took something off. I still need to finish swirl removal (damn the car dealers and their "free sandpaper car wash" after an oil change).
