Took a little time off this winter to relax a bit and get some things done on the addition…should be back to posting work again now though. :)

2014 Fiesta ST. This one was just in for a 2-step paint correction.

Process:

Wash – Meguiar’s Hyper Wash and natural lambs wool mitt
Wheels – Soap and water due to the DIP and not wanting to damage it.
Tires - Cleaned with Megs D143 and Tuf-Shine brush. Dressed with Megs Hyper Dressing 3:1
Paint Prep – Griot’s Fast Surface Prep Mitt and Glide as lube
Paint Correction – Groit`s Fast Correct on the G15 with Griot`s MF BOSS pads followed by Optimum Hyper Polish on the G15 with yellow BOSS pads. Tight areas were done with Megs G110v2.
Glass – Megs D120 and Griot’s PFM glass towels
LSP – Opti-Seal

Thanks! Not yet. I painted a stripe down the side on Sunday and I`ll be working on finishing off the ledge of the half wall this week. I still need to get trim on around the doors too but I`m not sure when I`ll get to that. I have to finish off the half bath in the service room as well but that`s a low priority right now. This is probably about as far as it will get for a while to be honest.

Nice work as always! The garage has come a long ways too! Did you say you were going to redo the floor and if so will you go with the same color?

I will be redoing it but with a more durable polyurea coating this time. It will be close to the same color but probably not gloss and I may add color chips this time.

im interested as well...

i use qtips on them but i prefer them removed. i took mine off and love it ever since

Wow, that drywall changed things a bit!

I honestly wasn`t even looking at the Ford. I can tell those lights really were a priority of yours. Very bright and the whole garage has a clean looking design.

The Ford looks good too.

I actually just use a MF towel and compound/Polish to get in between the letters. :)

It sounds good but honestly it`s nothing like sitting in a chair listening to a properly set up high fidelity system. It plays music though and can get pretty darn loud too. Most importantly the speakers are barely detectable and take up zero space. I think it may sound a little better when I get a nicer receiver too. The one I have now is just a cheap $200 unit. I`ll probably get a decent home theater receiver and hook up a center channel below the TV and a sub under the bench. :)

I assumed that would be the response based on everything being a reflective surface.

I just did similar, but for the A-pillar on an 88 Porsche. Just enough surface for me to use one finger in there, with a MF towel.
