Rasky's Auto Detailing: 2005 BMW 645 complete detail

Rasky's Auto Detailing
Owner bought this car used and wanted a complete detail with a little extra special attention. ;)

Exhaust tips

Paint condition was very hard to capture and the pics do not show the true condition. The finish was actually worse than what you see. There was a lot of rail dust too on the tops that I could not capture with the camera.

IMG_0645.jpg

IMG_0650.jpg

Etching in the clear that was easily removed with M105

IMG_0665.jpg

A few scuffs were visible on the car like this

Engine

Interior was in pretty good condition

IMG_0630.jpg

Small mark on the passengers seat.

IMG_0632.jpg

The only real trouble area on the interior was in the back seat under the floor matt. I doubt the owner even knew it was there.

IMG_0663.jpg

Wheels were removed to properly clean and protect the inner side of them. Since I had the wheels off I went over the wheel wells with a little more detail than usual.

IMG_0658.jpg

IMG_0659.jpg

Chrome on the wheels was clean with M105 and sealed with KAIO. I'd also made sure to torque the wheels to factory specs when I reinstalled them.

My process for the correction was M105 Via the Flex 3401 on a Meguiar’s W7207 foam pad. I followed that up with M205 via the rotary with a Meguiar’s W9207 foam pad. A few RIDS remained but they are very hard to see given the color. My LSP was Wolfgang DGPS (x2).

After: (Sorry it was cloudy with off and on rain…I’ll get sun shots tomorrow)

Door jambs were cleaned with APC and then polished by hand with KAIO. Weather stripping was protected with Meguiar’s M40

IMG_0693.jpg

A little dust on the wheels from pulling the car around…I touched that up. ;)

IMG_0685.jpg

Interior carpet was done using APC, Bissell LGM, Folex, Carpet brush, and a shop vac.

Leather was clean with Leather Masters Strong Cleaner and then protected with Leather Masters Protection Cream

Vinyl, dash, and trim was clean with Meguiar’s QID

Engine was cleaned with APC+, various brushes, wash mitt, and then dressed with Meguiar’s Water Based Dressing.

16+ hours invested…

Thanks for looking,

Rasky

The "...little extra special attention." and wink had me worried there for a minute.

The car looks excellent.

LMAO...it may have crossed my mind. :D

As excellent as the exterior looks, the interior is more impressive. Not only was it trashed but that is one cramped interior to work in. :lol

It never ceases to amaze me how owners let their cars get this bad:wow: the pics of the finish show quite clearly how bad it was and now how nice it is!!! if this car were black that is a three day correction.

Thanks Scott! It was very cramped interior! The back glass was a pain to clean and I have no idea how the owner ever tinted the back window!

That car is straight baller status. Great detail Rasky. I might of missed it, but how long did you spend on this one? Great job again.

Well in defence of the current owner he did buy it used. Prior to seeing it we were only going to do a 1-step correction. As soon as he pulled up I was like oh boy...:faint:

Wow, this car is so amazing!

The wheels are incredible !

The stance is perfect (suspension) !

I wonder what was that carpet stain in the back seat? hiiiiiiii

You did a very very nice job as always!

Congratulations!
