So MBS is claiming that he and his father King Salman knew nothing about Khashogghi`s murder. I call BS. The guy was one of his biggest critics and open about it and entire fiasco to hire a body double to play him/ audition for a body double then say its for a movie. You must be kidding me that people actually believe this? Or maybe they just choose to believe it because its easier. Either way this entire situation is quite crazy.

I`ve been following the story with interest for a while now. It`s been pretty facinating to watch the whole thing develop.

When you get beyond whether or not the intention was to kill Khashogghi outright, the fact senior members of the Saudi royal family decided to to ANYTHING of that nature to such an internationally well connected (the guy did work for the Washington Post and his fiance called one of the Turkish President`s aids directly when she became concerned) and highly visible individual is baffling. You do anything to an individual like that and LOTS of people are going to notice. There is no way to covertly make them dissapear unless you put together a very elaborate plan.

The whole affair has been pretty amateur for a nation-state intelligence operation.

That was an amazing response Ron
A guy looked at my Corvette the other day and said I wonder how many people could have been fed for the money that sports car cost.
I replied I am not sure, it fed a lot of families in Bowling Green, Kentucky who built it, it fed the people who make the tires, it fed the people who made the components that went into it, it fed the people in the copper mine who mined the copper for the wires, it fed people in Decatur IL. at Caterpillar who make the trucks that haul the copper ore. It fed the trucking people who hauled it from the plant to the dealer and fed the people working at the dealership and their families. BUT,... I have to admit, I guess I really don`t know how many people it fed.
That is the difference between capitalism and welfare mentality. When you buy something, you put money in people`s pockets, and give them dignity for their skills.
When you give someone something for nothing, you rob them of their dignity and self worth.
Capitalism is freely giving your money in exchange for something of value.
Socialism is taking your money against your will and shoving something down your throat that you never asked for.

When AG runs a flash 25% off sale and offers a free gift for orders over 125. Naturally I had to look at said gift and thought it funny it shows out of stock.

Sometimes it takes a bit for the site to completely update and publish changes, but it looks like it is showing in stock now.

Microfiber towels is one place PBMG could up their game and profits. The only towel that they sell that I like is the Gold Plush and their price is too high. Partner with The Rag Co. or send me to S. Korea to make a deal. Lol

Big resellers like PBMG get towels sent to them unsolicited all the time from suppliers to get them to try to buy a giant amount

The occasional new towel they offer is one the buyer seemed to like for the price point

They are likely not going to textile plants over seas to see them

I had a guy say that to me about my SRT8. He also had his panties in a knot over how much gas it used.

I told him GFY and did a nice burnout for him.

I wasn`t in the mood to debate that goof. It wasn`t going to change his mind anyway.

The majority of the towels I have received from PBMG as free gifts or cheap package deals have gone for use in the “other than paint” section of towels. I would happily buy my towels from PBMG if the quality and price matched (just matched) other suppliers.

I haven`t bought any towels from PBMG for a long time, but I thought they had moderated their pricing a bit, at least if you buy in the bulk packages (6 or 12 towels). I don`t bother to read the blurb anymore, but when I first joined Autopia in 2004, and learned about microfiber towels, well, let`s just say there is just as much hyperbole in marketing towels as there is wax, and they are able to charge a premium price, so they do.

I`ve got some PBMG towels from free gifts that are not bad. The grey supreme 530s are nice for wax/sealant removal. One side is a short nap and the other a longer nap.

I bought a bunch of the green polish wipe towels in bulk when they were on sale last year I think. They are similar to the Gyeon bald wipe towels. I have not noticed any towel marring with them on softer paints.

I do ofcourse have majority of my towels from TRC and most recently grabbed a bunch from AutoFiber to try.

I don`t know what`s wrong with people like that--that guy`s got no business telling you what to drive or how to spend your money.

I guess Ron has a lot of fans on the internet because it seems that dozens of sites have picked up on his quote, either that or he posted up something for us to read that`s been rattling around the internet for a few years (back to 2016) without telling us, because this is what my google search came up with:

Yeah I`m of the mind I have no business telling anyone how to spend their money. It`s not anyone`s business how much money you have or spend. People just seem to think everyone wants to know their opinion on everything. I blame the internet lol

Those are really nice towels, but as RLM said, a bit pricey. Even if you buy a 12 pack, the price is about the same as buying 1 towel at one of the MF sites, and if you get up to 3 towels, it`s way less than the 12-pack price, for a very similar towel.

To be honest most of them I got as free gifts with all those connect orders lol. I think the only ones i purchased were the polish wipe towels.

This was before I discovered TRC.

I would agree though PBMG is not the place I get my towels.

I thought it was Halloween, but I was mistaken it`s Christmas. Somebody has been messing around with the calendar.

Well just what I expected, was walked out of work yesterday, lol. My company has a habit of just letting people go that give their two weeks notice. Walked into the plant yesterday and seen the field managers truck outside the maintenance shop and I just knew, didn`t even bother to put on my steel toe boots. Thought I was gonna make it all two weeks as this Friday would be my last day. Not even mad though! Onto better things, better benefits, pension, 401K, etc. Guess I have 6 days off before my new job, gonna need to to adjust my sleep as I`m going to 3rd shift...

They are still paying you for the rest of the two weeks right?
