Yay I`m special
 
having a terrible case of the Mondays as my coworkers are generally (well I won`t even go there, but its not good)

so I find myself sitting in my garage on my lunch break loading up my Duetto to polish out part of my car... need a little stress relief, lol
 
Ronkh- Eh, that last bit "if you can`t.." kills it for me and makes me think critically enough to notice that *as presented*, it`s a False Dichotomy.

IMO it`s *those people who don`t see/know/understand the difference* who actually need to be enlightened, not written off and thus left to remain ignorant.

Sorry, couldn`t resist...IMO that kind of snarky, dismissive talk is the weapon-of-choice for the kind of [jerk] who can`t properly argue his position. Since I`m avoiding the Politics Thread, this`ll give vent to my, uhm...Inner Pedant ;)

(For the record, OF COURSE I think an EMT oughta make more than a burger-flipper. And any good schoolteacher oughta make more than any athlete or entertainer.)

Sorry for your family`s lose. We went through a similar scenario a few years back when we lost our nephew.

I did an interesting detail yesterday. An old Avalon with clear coat failure. The guy wanted it washed and waxed. A lot of people hate doing these cars. 2 hrs later I`m done and he pays me $85. It`s funny because I know people who buy new cars or have Mercedes, Audi, BMWs and say $75 is too much and they don`t wax it. Anyway this guy is having me do a headlight job next. Most people I know with part time jobs don`t even make this much working all day, so I count this as a blessing.

Then it turns out he has a new truck and wants my work in the future. I enjoy the ego boosting nice cars I usually get but I am still happy to detail an old car.

Passed by the local fire strio. On my way into work this morning and saw the guys washing the engine... with a deck brush just scrubbing away at it. I cringed.
 
Hey man, just saw this. I know it`s late, but sincerest condolences all the same. Couldn`t imagine that kind of situation. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

That was stupid enough, then to come out today and try to play the victim card because there`s been backlash from her poor decision is just over the top absurd

Well, that Victim Card is almost the standard response to criticism these days. Especially for those whose schtick is being offensive.
 
Agreed. I have no problem with shocking/crude/offensive comedy.....ive got a pretty crude sense of humor to be honest. But if that`s your shtick, you can`t be upset when something blows up in your face

With the amount of violence and nastiness coming out of the left these days, i don`t know how anyone could have thought that was going to be a good idea
